Organella of Curlee Wurlee!) and one dude from Hamburg, St. Pauli, with their mighty cool four song debut EP: "You're not gonna" is a fast organ driven garage punker, "End of time" a cool ballad that might bring the Headcoatees back in your head, "Sortir avec toi" a mod / power pop cut and "Surprise party à Sankt Pauli" a fun sing along tune that you might think you've heard before, even though you've probably never been to Saint-Tropez, eeey, St. Pauli! That German/French/English band with two songs. "My brain is empty" belongs to the absolute hits of their latest album, but this time in a Kinks-styled piano version which could have been written by Ray Davies in 1966. Outstanding! B-Side "You are on your own" sounds like MOD with Keith Moon on drums. Limited edition of 500 singles. Listen to "My brain is empty" under http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CeTWIwUvcVI Learn More

2nd pressing BACK IN STOCK! 17 tracks vinyl debut album (2001). Curlee Wurlee!'s 1st album: this is a juvenile one, featuring a power punk pop A-side and a rather 60s garage B-side. And after all these years, the band found 200 copies again, available here at the end of Oct 2012! Learn More

Just send an inquiry mail since it won't be listed.

Two cuts by each band, one cover, one original: 1. Lady Banana - Aces Boogie 02:16 2. Lady Banana - Run run run 02:07 3. The Skeptics - Master of the Hive 02:48 4. The Skeptics - Hidden Charms 02:55 About: Göteborg, Sweden's trashiest duo ever Lady Banana (featuring ex-Tundra Fucks' Pontus) and French Fuzz Punk masters The Skeptics from La Rochelle (members of White Fangs, Mean Things, Wild Zeros and much more) team-up on this split 7". Each band gives us an original and covers one of their favourite songs. Those tracks were all recorded by Lo'Spider at Swampland Studios, Toulouse, where they stopped for a few days during their joint 'Tour De France' - which actually ended up in Germany - in late-October/early-November 2012. After their first 7" out on Frantic City a few months before (FRANTIC 020), Lady Banana goes on building their own 'Wall of Trash' sound and on the flip you'll find the very first 'band recordings' from the Skeptics. All previous material (two 7"es and an LP) was recorded by Bart De Vraantijk only, now on these tracks Bart was playing the guitar and singing along with Kristal on Bass and Etienne from Teenage Moonlight Borderliners, Crash Normal, White Ass (also running Inch Allah Records) on simplified drums. Get ready for the most Primitive Trash Garage Punk sounds you've heard since a very long time. We highly recommend their first album "File under Fuzz Punk" on Moody Monkey Records: http://moodyshop.featurecube.com/vinyl/the-skeptics-file-under-fuzz-punk.html Second Skeptics album is also available down here.
